Coming soon: Oracle Fusion and Oracle EPM in one app
Short answer: Newarc Consulting is adding an Oracle EPM connection to Data Collage, with a planned release in early 2027. The aim is to bring Fusion and EPM investigations into the same desktop workbench. Oracle Fusion is supported today; EPM connection details and capabilities will be published with the release.
Coming soon · Oracle EPM support is planned for early 2027.
Many finance-system questions sit between ERP and EPM. A ledger balance does not match Planning, an actuals load needs checking, or a variance needs tracing back to its source. The person investigating often knows both systems but has to assemble the comparison across different tools.
The planned EPM connection is intended to make that workflow easier to manage in one app.
Why bring Oracle Fusion and EPM into one workbench?
Reconciliation usually starts by agreeing what the numbers represent. That can involve the ledger, period, currency, account mapping, and the time at which data moved between systems.
One workbench would give finance systems analysts, Fusion consultants, and EPM administrators a common place to investigate both sides of those questions. Newarc has tested the EPM connection; the supported workflows will be described when it ships.

What can you do on the Fusion side today?
You can use the current Fusion connection to investigate GL balances, journals, and supporting detail, then save approved queries as analyses for repeated reviews. The EPM launch is not required to prepare that part of the workflow.
For example, a period-balance review can start with the balance components and identifiers:
--@title: Fusion GL balances for EPM reconciliation
SELECT gb.ledger_id,
gb.code_combination_id,
gb.period_name,
gb.currency_code,
gb.translated_flag,
gb.begin_balance_dr,
gb.begin_balance_cr,
gb.period_net_dr,
gb.period_net_cr
FROM gl_balances gb
WHERE gb.actual_flag = 'A'
AND gb.ledger_id = :p_ledger_id
AND gb.period_name = :p_period
AND gb.currency_code = :p_currency
ORDER BY gb.code_combination_id, gb.translated_flag
This is a starting extract, not a completed ERP-to-EPM reconciliation. Choose the balance type you need, apply your approved reporting-security rules, and add the chart-of-accounts segments required for the comparison. Retaining the balance components helps make the calculation and mapping explicit.
Prepare a reusable reconciliation workflow
- Agree the scope. Identify the ledger, period, currency, balance type, and EPM comparison target.
- Review the Fusion query. Confirm its accounting meaning, security filters, and expected level of detail.
- Keep the identifiers and mappings. Include the account fields needed to align Fusion output with the EPM data.
- Save the analysis. Preserve SQL, formulas, formats, and bind defaults for the next run.
- Fetch current data for each review. Record the extraction and load timing so the comparison uses an agreed point in time.
When two totals differ, investigate scope and mapping as well as the amount. Comparing ledger-currency actuals with a different currency, period, or account grouping can produce a difference even when both systems are behaving as configured.
What will Newarc confirm at release?
The release information will describe EPM authentication, supported data access, the available investigation workflows, and licensing. The planned release window is early 2027; it is not a confirmed launch date.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Oracle EPM connection available today?
No. EPM support is coming soon. The currently available connection is Oracle Fusion.
When is Oracle EPM support planned?
The planned window is early 2027. Newarc will publish the launch date and supported capabilities with the release.
Will Fusion and EPM support be in the same app?
That is the plan: both connections within Data Collage. Licensing details will be confirmed at launch.
Will I be able to join Fusion and EPM data in one SQL query?
Cross-system query capabilities have not been specified in this article. The release documentation will explain how the EPM connection works and which workflows it supports.
Can I prepare for Fusion-to-EPM reconciliation now?
Yes. Prepare and save the Fusion-side queries today, with agreed scope, mappings, and reporting-security filters.
